When will I be free?
by Abigail C. Dizon
Once you came calmly and carefully,
Later you told me that you love me.
But when we were together,
I was imprisoned by your fake ideology and identity.
Since then I forgot to say,
"Hey, hey! I am free!"
You became bad and bitter.
The man I used to love was gone.
You became jealous and like a jaguar
You bit me into tiny bits.
Now I don't know how to say.
"Hey, hey! I am free!"
You shattered my shallow dreams of becoming myself.
You filled my heart with hatred.
You put tears in my twinkling eyes.
Come on tell me and teach me how to say.
"Hey, hey! I am free!"
