Teach me to forget; to be oblivious,
Of everything we have shared and enjoyed.
Because I fear one day I shall be awaken,
By the truth - you will never be mine,
But a beloved of someone dear to you.
Teach me to think of you no more,
To dream no more of our own world,
To wish no more of all our cherished dreams.
Because I feel you belong to them
And they possess your heart and soul.
Teach me to remember no more,
That once you made me laugh,
That once you have been for me.
Because I know, any moment you will leave,
